Homeroom is a digital tool that helps parents organise school communications by creating weekly schedules and reminders. Homeroom is not affiliated with schools or education providers.

2. Eligibility

• Be 18 years or older
• Be a parent, caregiver, or someone managing a child's school-related activities

Children do not use or manage Homeroom accounts.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Use Homeroom only for lawful purposes
• Not upload malicious content
• Safeguard your login credentials

4. School Information Disclaimer

Homeroom organises the information you upload or forward. We do not verify school content and cannot guarantee accuracy.

You acknowledge that:

• Schools may change dates or events
• Important details should be double-checked with the school
• Homeroom is a support tool, not a replacement for official school communication systems

5. AI Assistant Disclaimer

The Homeroom AI assistant uses OpenAI's API to interpret and summarise information.

AI may occasionally:

• Misinterpret details
• Miss non-standard formatting
• Provide incomplete summaries

You agree to use your own judgment and verify critical information.

6. Subscription & Billing

If using a paid version:

• Billing is monthly or yearly
• You may cancel at any time
• Cancellation prevents future charges
• Partial periods are not refunded

Taxes may apply depending on your region.

7. Content Ownership

Everything you upload remains your property. You grant Homeroom permission to process this content solely to provide the service.

We do not own, sell, or reuse your school documents or personal information.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Misuse
• Fraud
• Violation of these terms
• Malicious or abusive behaviour

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Homeroom is not liable for:

• Missed school events
• Incorrect or outdated school information
• AI-generated inaccuracies
• Service outages
• Loss of data caused by third-party providers

You use the service "as-is" and at your own discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary. Continued use of Homeroom means you accept the updated version.
